Sieun’s approach to lighting is rooted in her extensive experience with live performances. She brings a methodical and thoughtful process to each project, drawing on her deep background in lighting for music and other live events. This allows her to effectively build the framework that is essential for creating visually captivating shows, whether she’s designing for a corporate event or a live performance.
Her lighting programming talents have been instrumental in shaping the visual atmosphere of major corporate events, including high-profile gatherings like Google Next, Black Hat, SaaStr, Kubota, and Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages. She’s also contributed to a range of installation projects, such as the 2022 studio remodel at KYTX CBS19 and immersive design experiences for the innovative CAMP store locations.
Her breadth of experience extends into academic and live entertainment sectors, where she has provided lighting design for special events at Baylor University and Dallas Baptist University. She joined the crew on Chappell Roan’s Summer Tour 2024, further showcasing her adaptability in live production environments.
Sieun’s foundation in lighting design began with her volunteer work at Prestonwood Baptist Church, where her passion for creating impactful lighting quickly earned her the role of full-time house Lighting Designer. Her work includes the “Dallas Christmas Spectacular” at First Baptist Church in Dallas, along with her ongoing support for local churches.
A graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Media Arts and a minor in Music, Sieun skillfully bridges the gap between technical execution and creative storytelling, making her an asset to any production.
When she’s not working on lighting designs, Sieun enjoys immersing herself in nature, exploring art galleries and cityscapes, and discovering new culinary experiences. Her adventurous spirit is always driving her to seek fresh perspectives and creative inspiration.
