04.09.18 Domopalooza 2018
UVLD’s David Rees was thrilled to be invited by Webb Production to provide lighting design for Domopalooza 2018, which took place March 13-16 in Salt Lake City. The event has grown exponentially; this year it was moved from the Grand America Hotel to the Salt Palace Convention Center to accommodate the volume of attendees. On site, Rees handled duties in the General Session and Kevin Lawson joined to man the concert venue in the adjacent hall. The four-day event featured general sessions, breakout sessions and daily after parties with international headlining music acts, keynote speakers like Phil Jackson, Jay Brown (co-founder of Roc Nation), Omar Johnson (former CMO of Beats by Dre), numerous executives plus a “ski day” at Snowbird on Friday.
Domo, Inc. is a computer software company based in American Fork, Utah, specializing in business intelligence tools and data visualization. This event is Domo’s annual user conference; this was our third year at Domopalooza!
Nicholas Odencrantz acted as executive producer for Webb Production. Michelle Morin and Matt Burns were the production electricians. 4Wall Las Vegas provided lighting equipment.
