Visual Media Developer
Cameron Yeary has worked in the entertainment industry since the age of sixteen. Although he started in lighting and was a world-class programmer and designer, for the past ten years he has worked almost exclusively in video and SERVES as the Visual Media Developer for UVLD.
He strives to understand thoroughly what the production calls for creatively and to use technology to bring those ideas to screen. His work has involved ultra-widescreen, multi-display, interactive media, and projection mapping from shows big to small. Although he has an unrivaled knowledge of technology, his strengths are predominantly creative; he maintains a unique sensitivity to the application of the tools of his trade to the evolving demands of this field.
Recognizing that technology and production tools are constantly in flux, Cameron often develops new workflows and execution methods which are emulated throughout the industry. He is destination-agnostic and has worked on projects that run the gamut from single-screen stage productions to three-day music festivals with six stages and over a quarter million attendees. Cameron’s strong leadership skills make him a natural team helmsman, while his depth of industry knowledge also makes him a solid solo tradesman.
No matter what task is at hand, Cameron seeks to help clients get the most for their dollar. He has taken small content budgets into big shows and still works to bring his clients under budget.
Cameron is always exploring new technology and developing newer and more dynamic ways to bring clients’ imaginations to life. His creative problem-solving, task management, communication, and creative abilities have truly made Cameron a leader in his field.
When not pushing pixels, Cameron spends his time in beautiful Colorado with his wife, his French bulldog, and his extreme sports obsessions.
