10.02.16 African American History and Culture Museum

UVLD was honored to be part of the Inaugural Public Opening of the new Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture Museum. Cameron Yeary was tapped to control the screens for this event using the new SMP media servers that he built playing back content from Drew Findley of DF Productions.

“What was really great about these new tiny servers is that there is such power in such a small box,” Yeary said. “I can literally carry them on the plane if I need to. ”

The event, produced by Don Mischer Productions, featured guest speakers George W. Bush, Barack Obama, John Lewis, Robert DeNiro, Oprah, Will Smith, SCOTUS John Roberts and performances by Patti Labelle and Stevie Wonder.
